“Contribute to the needs of the saints and extend hospitality to strangers.” (Romans 12:13)
As a point of pilgrimage for many travelers, and as a community open to those seeking a welcoming environment, the Pro-Cathedral opens its doors to all. There are many opportunities to make the visitor welcome and to provide newcomers with spiritual nourishment. Our Cathedral is called to be a house of prayer for all people.
Ministers of Hospitality welcome visitors and newcomers and encourages membership in our congregation. Information about the Cathedral community is available in our “Welcome Booklet” in the centre vestibule and those interested in joining the community are invited to fill out registration forms.
Ministers pass out worship leaflets, take up the collection, guide people during communion, and clean up after the service. They must be helpful and friendly. These outgoing and dedicated individuals are the Cathedral’s front line in our ministry of hospitality, welcoming visitors and offering assistance and information.
Please call the Pro-Cathedral office if you are interested or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information.
